NAME: Don
My steam and xbox live handle is drunkvegetarian, and my ps3 handle is gruven. I am also on evolve, xfire, and raptr as drunkvegetarian.
I spend about 2 hours per day on average gaming. On a day off from work, I sometimes play all day long. Gaming is a release for me.
I am currently playing Homefront and Minecraft, with a little bit of Crysis mixed in. I have over 100 games on steam, and I have been known to play a few indie puzzle games. I also have been playing adventure games like Magicka and Tomb Raider.
My favorite type of games are first person shooters, and hack-n-slash type games like God of War. I enjoy fighting style games such as Mortal Kombat as well. As much as I hate to admit it, I also LOVE the lego style games.
Believe it or not, my favorite achievement is in Plants vs Zombies. It is the one where you blow up 10 zombies with 1 cherry bomb. I don’t concentrate too much on achievements/trophies though. I feel that the gameplay should be enough by itself.
I am sure most people would say that they wanted to be a character from Call of Duty, or from another war game. Not me. I get all the shooting I want from my games. I wouldn’t even want to be a character in most adventure games. My ideal character would be Liesure Suit Larry. I think we all know why.
Half Life 2. Hand down. It has an intriguing story, a long single player (and who doesn’t love a long campaign?), and a lot of re-playability. I have played through it several times, and it never gets boring. There is no other game that really comes close to it for me, and I doubt that there ever will be.
My favorite feature on Thatgamerhub.com is the forums. It is great to meet other gamers with like minds and not be ridiculed for just being a casual gamer. It is a great place to meet others, and it has a great community.
We would like to thank Drunkvegetarian for participating in The Community Spotlight and our website! We look forward to hearing more from him (and all of you) in the future.
