After several weeks of teasing, we’re finally ready to reveal the big news. I’d press the very expensive “Drum-roll” button we had installed last week, but since you’re reading this, you’ve probably already seen the title of this article and therefore already know the excellent news. (So that’s another $7,000 wasted on unused sound effects buttons…)
But yes, you read that correctly: We hear at That Gamer Hub are very proud and excited to announce our new collaboration with the very brilliant Raptr!
For those who didn’t know already, Raptr is the leading social-network for gamers, giving players the chance to connect with their friends cross-platform, as well as track all their gaming achievements, trophies and accomplishments.
Recently, Raptr has went through a dramatic evolution, building upon its already solid base of users (more than eight million people already use Raptr to track their gameplay and connect with their friends across PC, console, and web games). Raptr have now launched a social news platform, adding a significant new dimension to its popular service. Users can now submit stories, which are then voted on by the community and automatically targeted based on a person’s gaming profile and gameplay activity.
Essentially, Raptr delivers content directly to you based on the games and platforms you own, your recent gameplay, and what your friends are sharing.
Today, Raptr’s full feature set includes:
- Personalized news feed
- Community-curated content
- Expanded topics to include all things related to gaming
- Suggestion engine to help you discover new games
- Automatic gameplay and achievements tracker on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3
- Centralized buddy list and friend tracker
- In-game chat and web browsing for PC games
As a part of our collaboration and becoming a launch partner, That Gamer Hub now has its own page on Raptr!
All of our articles will be linked to Raptr, allowing us to share the most up-to-date news, reviews, opinion pieces and original content relevant to your preferences. With your help, we can make That Gamer Hub the most popular website on Raptr, and hopefully grow our already amazing community!
Click here to visit the That Gamer Hub page on Raptr, making sure to follow us to get all of our latest updates! You can also comment and rate your favorite articles, sharing your preferences with the entire Raptr and That Gamer Hub community!
With this new collaboration, you can also expect a lot more from us. With our writing team coming up with new and exciting article ideas, and new Community submitted articles coming through frequently, we hope to deliver even more quality content than ever before. And, of course, this also means we’ll be holding some very cool contests – with some very cool prizes – very soon!

Raptr homepage for logged-out users. New users simply provide at least one piece of information about the games they like, or their gaming identity, ie. Xbox Gamertag, PSN ID, or Steam ID. Raptr then creates a personalized experience based on the info the user gives.

The logged-in user’s home page. No two dashboards are the same, as content and user activity are unique to each person. This is the default landing page for all registered users, and contains timely, personalized content based on the user’s gaming activity as well as relevance of the content as filtered through our algorithm. In addition, the dashboard provides suggested games that a user may also find interesting as well.

This is where users can find info about and follow a game. While the dashboard showcases the hottest stories from a mix of gaming content, each gaming page will showcase any post submitted for that specific game. The community can submit, vote and comment on each story from here as well.
