This week marked a first for the Pokemon franchise: A Pokemon game that is a direct sequel to another game in the same generation was released in North America. Of course, I'm talking about Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2, and I can tell you right away that when this was first announced some odd months ago, I among a lot of people had questions. Probably the most noticable ... more.

Having been around for a little while already, Smudged Cat’s Gateways has been more-or-less on my radar for the past few months. It’s 2D Portal-like platforming mechanic intrigued me for the most part, but I was still unsure if it would live up to what it was aspiring to be. After having clocked in around 8 to 10 hours into it, I can garantee you that it indeed is a great game. *Please note... more.

Amongst the games that grabbed my attention, Hermitgames’s Leave Home was one of my favourites (to be honest, it is my #1 Xbox LIVE Indie Game). The studio is back to kick off the Indie Games Uprising 3 promotion with another g... more.

In my gaming life, the original Counter-Strike had a number of firsts in my life. It was probably the inaugural first-person shooter that I've actually played, it was the first game that I had played online, and it was probably the first (and only) FPS game that I was ever good att. That however, was many years ago. I thought I had moved onto greener pastures after my long stint where playing wha... more.

If you’re sick of playing games in the same old settings doing the same old things, then you might want to pay attention to United Front Game’s Sleeping Dogs. The story follows an undercover cop named Wei Shen, who is your typical expert martial arts master that can fight twelve guys at once and win. His assignment involves infiltrating one of the Triad gangs, which he does fairly easily since... more.
