It's now been a little over a month since Sony's Playstation Vita hit store shelves, and for many (including myself) it did not disappoint. I own 6 games for it now, 7 if you include the PSP game I brought, and I have no regrets about buying my Vita Day one.  There's an abundant amount of games for you to buy and enjoy on your train ride to work, but the things there doesn't seem to be much varie... more.

Any fan of Sony should know of the Wipeout series; it’s been a Playstation exclusive since Wipeout 3 was released in 1999. The PSP had it’s own Wipeout game available as a launch title (Wipeout Pure), so it seems only fair that the newest Sony handheld get the same treatment. This is where Wipeout 2048 comes in, the latest game in the series, and one of the launch titles for the Vita. Long sto... more.

It should be no secret to you by now that we at That Gamer Hub are huge gamers. Not only gamers that play a couple of online multiplayer shooter game while yelling insanities at young kids (who should not be playing these games anyway). Still, some of us refuse to sit back even once a year and celebrate gaming by watching video game awards ceremonies taking place throughout the year just like a mo... more.

I have small hands. Child-sized hands. Kids medium glove sized hands. And while they may look cute (or creepy, depending on your viewpoint), they aren't really conducive for gaming. Think about it. You need a fairly decent hand span to be able to accurately and effectively press all the buttons on today's controllers. Can't reach the end of the joystick? You die. Have trouble stretching your finge... more.

Author's Note:  ***Let me preface this by saying this post did comment that the From Ashes DLC was on the disc, but that has since been proven wrong, so those remarks have been removed from the post. Everything else has stayed the same, but it should be mentioned that the PC version of Mass Effect 3 does already contain the DLC, but access is blocked to the player until purchase.** People are ... more.
  • Power To The Players?

There were certain things that existed before this generation of game consoles; before the rise of pawn shop-esque stores like GameStop. Things like beating a game 100% just to have a sense of accomplishment, not for achievement points. Grinding through a game as fast as possible in order to brag to your friends about it, not just to trade it in and get half your money back; or the respect that us... more.

We all love different types of games. Some of them are masterpieces while others are flawed but enjoyable games. For some strange reasons, there is also another category of games we love: guilty pleasures. You know... the type of game you know is downright awful, the ones you feel ashamed to talk about to your friends... yeah, this type of game. We at That Gamer Hub are certainly not immune to thi... more.
