With the latest Castlevania game on its way, I thought it would be nice to gather the children round and tell them about the last and truly great game in the series; Super Castlevania IV. The game is essentially a remake of the first Castlevania, with it returning to the basics of Simon Belmont out to vanquish the evil of the land. Although the game doesn't follow the same layout of c... more. -

I love zombies and I especially enjoy beating them to bloody pulps. In the past few years, we've seen countless games involving the shambling undead and they've even appeared in video games that we'd never expect, (Crackdown 2 and Call of Duty), and in 2006 we were given Dead Rising. A sort of sandbox and horror survival game set in a shopping centre in the middle of no where. As well as the hund... more. -

Imagine me, exploding through the door and exclaiming, "Sorry I'm late." (That's an excellent introduction for Duke Nukem Forever...) Anyway, down to the business. The weird and wonderful Tokyo Game Show came to an end on Sunday, and a whole slew of games have arrived since the last time I updated. It's pretty awesome really, and I can't wait to get my hands on some of these. Valkyrie Chroni... more. -

Halo: Reach. Bungie's last efforts have not gone unnoticed, and they've sent off the series with a bang. Everything has been revamped, all for the better. But the Halo fanboy that I am, has noticed a recurring theme and bugs and issues that have gone unresolved, even though it's on a new updated engine. Let us delve into the game, shall we? It's set before the Master Chief wakes up in Halo: Com... more. -

Straight from TGS- a new teaser trailer for the upcoming game Alice: Madness Returns, sequel to the 2000 title American McGee's Alice. This game has been hugely anticipated for many years now and speculation grew when a video emerged, in 2008, suggesting that a new game was in development. Sadly the video turned out to be entirely home-made, but very well made. About a month or so ago a t... more. -
Tokyo Game Show: Day One Round Up

As we can't actually attend the Tokyo Game Show this year and are going off other websites for information and videos, I thought it'd be nice to do a little round up to each day. Shall we get stuck into the good stuff then? First off, the fourth game in the "Disaster Report" series was announced along side the re-releases of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, (done in the same style bundle as God... more. -
