So, we at TGH spend a lot of time throwing paper into bins. It's what we do best. Whether we're contemplating, pondering, deducing or querying the far reaches of our brains regarding Hume's "Matters of Fact" and how it relates to video games, or not. So, when I was having a tough time deciding on which game to post for this week, hence the tardiness, I came across 'cyrkam airtos' on Sticky.co's... more.

News As we drawer ever closer to October 18th - the supposed "final update" before a solid month of bug fixing - the team at Mojang have been working non-stop implementing new features into the game. Over the past few weeks we've seen several new mobs, biomes, items and a whole host of fixes and tweaks, and it seems Notch and Jens have only just begun. notch Me and @jeb_ decided t... more.

A Mother in Festerwood, by Austin Breed (whose work has appeared on That Gamer Hub previously), delivers a message that can have a few interpretations but ultimately, it should lead you in the path of mother’s and the “nesting” they go through when their children leave for the first time. This is mentioned in the 'artist's statement in the game'. In AMiF (great acronym, I know),... more.

News With Minecraft's official launch just over a month away, development has been pretty much non-stop the past few weeks. Notch and Jens have been working hard to create new and interesting features to implement in the game, as well as tweak the one's already set in place from beta 1.8. notch The plan now is to do another pre release of 1.9 this week. Yeah, it's a beta of a b... more.

Canabalt is a great game and in my opinion hard to one up for that style of “running / escape” game. So, while I was sifting through my various resources for Browser Game of the Week, I came across and thoroughly enjoyed Edmus. In Edmus, you try to run farther than your competition, which is actually pseudo-ghosts of real people, or rather their black blob avatars with a neat hat. Yes, hats... more.

In the current age of franchises leaping into the first person shooter genre and developers throwing beige slop against the walls to entice the hoards of Call of Duty and Halo addicts to come try their game, Relic turns in the opposite direction and stays true to what 40K established. I'm sure anyone who is familiar with the franchise will undoubtedly have wished, "I would really, re... more.
