  • Defenders of Ardania | Review (Xbox 360)

Tower Defense games are pretty much a hit or miss genre. You either really like the amount of strategy it takes to excel at them, or find it incredibly boring to just sit  there and watch enemies walk down a fixed route as your turrets shoot them down. There is a lot that can be attributed to the negative opinions of tower defense games, one of them being that they are just all so a-like. Out of ... more.

I have small hands. Child-sized hands. Kids medium glove sized hands. And while they may look cute (or creepy, depending on your viewpoint), they aren't really conducive for gaming. Think about it. You need a fairly decent hand span to be able to accurately and effectively press all the buttons on today's controllers. Can't reach the end of the joystick? You die. Have trouble stretching your finge... more.
  • Asura’s Wrath | Review (PS3)

Asura’s Wrath is a game that is unlike anything I have ever seen before. An interesting new IP from Capcom, Asura’s Wrath takes you through the tale of a demigod’s revenge, and his wrath. A lot of wrath. Early footage of Asura’s Wrath made it seem like some kind of crazy interactive cutscene, but it so much more than that. Its an experience, and its one I won’t soon forget. The game... more.

What happens when you get some of the minds behind Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and the fiction/fantasy writer R.A. Salvador to make a game? Well, Reckoning happens, and boy is it one hell of an adventure at that. When you set out to make a new RPG, with new characters, new monsters, new lore, and an entirely new world today, you better be bringing the big guns. With competitors like Mass Effect, S... more.
  • Taking a look back on Tony Hawk RIDE

Chances are that you cherish some game franchises, no matter how good or bad they get over time. For some of you, it might be Final Fantasy. For some others, it might be Resident Evil. While I enjoy both of these series a lot, one franchise I cannot seem to let go of is the Tony Hawk games. I first started playing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 demo months before it released, basically completing almo... more.
  • Pinball FX2 – Marvel Vengeance And Virtue | Review (Xbox 360)

I’d be lying if I’d say I wasn’t a huge pinball fan. I still, to this day, play live tables on average once a week and when I don’t play live tables, I play Pinball FX 2. In the latest Marvel Pinball DLC, we are presented with the “Vengeance and Virtue” pack. Consisting of 4 tables with some familiar (and some not so familiar) comic book heroes. Up first we have Thor, who comes as t... more.
  • Final Fantasy XIII-2 | Review (PS3)

The Final Fantasy series has had its ups and downs over its lifespan, and Square Enix revamped the series with Final Fantasy XIII. The fighting system was a more modern approach to turn based RPG's and graphically, it was in par with some of the best games on the market for any console. With the newest installment into the Final Fantasy series, and direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII, Square Enix ... more.
