  • Splinter Cell: Conviction Review Part One (Xbox 360)

Splinter Cell games and I have a history. I suck at them, and they bash me over the head until I'm done. I was cautious last Saturday, when I picked up Splinter Cell in the bargain area of HMV. Nervously, I went home, popped it in and a door opened. It was a shiny door with a knob on it that glistened. A Splinter Cell game that had moved on with the times. The game is set three years after Sam ... more.
  • Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode One Review

Sonic is supposedly back on form, if the other Video Game based websites are to be believed. I - on the other hand - believe he's climbing out of the hole, but slipping at the edges. I've played the full thing through on Wii, a demo on Xbox 360 and have stayed so far away from the iPhone version, I believe it's a mere simmering mirage in the background of my mind. To tell you the truth, unless you... more.

I'm actually really excited for Rock Band 3, having come into the Music Game Genre in 2007 they wrapped their expensive ropes around me and thrusted me into a world of good music, bad business schemes and ugly models. I'm here to take you through my walk around the block and it's many buildings. In 2007, I gathered wind of a new sequel to Guitar Hero and there was some hubbub about it. I wa... more.

In a desperate attempt to get people to start using its search engine, Microsoft has implemented a fancy new rewards program for users of Bing. Once you register for an account and download the Bing toolbar, you will be rewarded with 250 Bing fun bucks (or Bing rewards points - whatever). How does this help me get free Microsoft Points points you ask? Well, for every 100 Bing fun bucks you earn, y... more.
  • Dead Rising 2: Case Zero Review (Xbox 360)

I love zombies and I especially enjoy beating them to bloody pulps. In the past few years, we've seen countless games involving the shambling undead and they've even appeared in video games that we'd never expect, (Crackdown 2 and Call of Duty), and in 2006 we were given Dead Rising. A sort of sandbox and horror survival game set in a shopping centre in the middle of no where. As well as the hund... more.

Imagine me, exploding through the door and exclaiming, "Sorry I'm late." (That's an excellent introduction for Duke Nukem Forever...) Anyway, down to the business. The weird and wonderful Tokyo Game Show came to an end on Sunday, and a whole slew of games have arrived since the last time I updated. It's pretty awesome really, and I can't wait to get my hands on some of these. Valkyrie Chroni... more.
  • Deadly Premonition: Surrealistic Thriller or Broken Nightmare?

In 1990, famed director David Lynch introduced us to his surreal, fantasy nightmare set in the town of Twin Peaks, Wa. This television series focused around the search by FBI Special Agent  Dale Cooper for the person responsible for the brutal murder of the beautiful homecoming queen, Laura Palmer and featured a cast of bizarre characters theretofore unseen on American television. This show also ... more.
