There comes a time where a single game comes along from an unknown developer that does just about everything right. Very few are able to pull it off, but Fuelcell Games is the latest to try to make that perfect game that's fun, challenging, and beautiful. Their first game, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, will attempt to do just that when it launches as part of Xbox Live's Summer of Arcad... more. -

Humans love to play God, don't we? From engineers to geneticists, we're always trying to bend the laws of nature. Usually the ability to do so takes extensive education, years of training, and a metric ton of money. Thankfully, Ubisoft and Eric Chahi have put that ability directly into your omnipotent little hands with the second release from the Xbox summer of arcade, From Dust. From Dust... more. -

(This is Community Submitted Article. To submit your own article, click here.) Japan is known for having some pretty bizarre anime. Catherine is no exception to this fact. The player is cast as the daring chap (robot) by the name of Rockford. As Rockford you have two objecti... more. -

Very few game designers manage to create experiences in which mature themes are present. Most games usually fail to use these subjects by falling into vulgarity, excessive violence and lame jokes (I’m looking at you Duke...). However, famous designer Suda51 (No More Heroes, Killer 7) has always seemed to be able to treat more “adult” themes perfectly. His latest game Shadows of the... more. -

I first heard of Bastion and its creators at Supergiant Games a bit before PAX East and therefore made it a point to see it whilst on that amazing three day experience. I thoroughly enjoyed what I saw and played then and those feelings have only grown since. So, what is Bastion? That is more difficult question to answer than I first thought. You wake up and the amazing narration of Lo... more. -
